Since quitting my finance job, I now rarely wear professional attire, simply because they are not comfortable. But since I got this Cooper Dress from the Fold London, I’ve changed my mind. This dress is so comfortable without compromising the fit. It’s made from stretch jersey material with a subtle gather on the side of the waist so even if you overeat you don’t need to feel self-conscious about the tummy area!

It’s my magic dress, since it highlights my curves and makes me look thin at the same time!

The Fold London was started by Polly and Cheryl, who are my friends from London Business School. Their aim is to bring style into the boardroom. So professionally chic.

I’m wearing this dress with our a-list bracelet (the usual!) and no time for you in black, as well as a pair of pumps from Joseph and red lipstick from Mac.

Today’s outfit is called Fanta-time.

The outfit consists of shoes from Joseph, t-shirt from the Gap, shorts from Forever21, and jacket from Max & Co. And of course, the jewellery are from astrid & miyu: I’m wearing the arm candy bangles on both of my wrists. (-> if you haven’t known, it’s very trendy now to wear the same cuff on both sides!)

today’s theme is flower-on-flower. the outfit is centred around the floral watch from Liberty (that my amazing boyfriend got me as a surprise after seeing me look at it many times), vintage floral blouse, and a Marc by Marc Jacobs coat with a floral lining.

to spice the wardrobe up, I’m wearing astrid & miyu’s biker chic in tan, I wish for world peace and fringe do in olive. I’m also wearing a pair of bell bottoms from Forever21 (I haven’t worn these since high school!)

my natural inclination in the morning is to go either for black, neutral or stripes. but since spring is here, I’ve decided to venture outside my comfort zone. so today’s theme is pastel colours.

#todayimwearing French Connection champagne coloured dress, Hanii Y baby blue leather jacket, shoes from Hong Kong, H&M mint clutch, astrid & miyu jewellery including debutante earrings, no time for you in blush, pink lady ring, protect me in silver,  I wish for world peace.

Today’s outfit is called boho-arm meets Parisienne-chic - whatever that means! Jenny and I were working out of Holland Park this afternoon and these are some snapshots from the Park.

Along with my usual a-list bracelet, on the opposite wrist, I’m wearing silky stuff in tangerine, a Casio watch, a white beaded bracelet Jenny got me from South Africa last year, and twisted love bracelet.

Aside from the arm party, I’m wearing a Sandro striped t-shirt, a jacket I got from Seoul, Uniqlo leggings, Urban Outfitters sunglasses, and a pair of shoes I got from Milan.

#london weekend

One of the beauties of living in London is that you are travel all over Europe almost spontaneously. But because of this, a lot of people around me, including myself don’t quite realise how beautiful London itself is.

Last weekend, I’ve had a chance to stroll around London with my boyfriend from Covent Garden to Southbank.  And here are some snapshots.

Started with a dim sum brunch at Hakkasan…

…ended with a bit of humour… statue lady in goggles…

still more to discover in London!

Spanish roadtrip 3-10 March 2012

so I went to the land of zara and picasso for a week with my boyfriend on a roadtrip (never been on one of these since I was in the 2nd grade!)

it was the best trip ever - completely jamon-ed / sangria-ed out, had the BEST, most caring roadtrip partner in the world and the route we took was perfect.

throughout the trip, my outfit staples included A-list bracelet, YSL muse bag I’ve had for 7 years and personalised sneakers from NikeID that my boyfriend introduced me to.

Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination.
